Real Estate Legal Secretary

£30k

London (EC2M), with hybrid working

Your experience working as a Legal Secretary in Real Estate is highly sought after by our client. They are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join their Development Sales team, supporting fee earners and delivering exceptional service to their clients. This role is integral to maintaining seamless operations across real estate transactions, making it perfect for an organised, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients, confidently managing inquiries and maintaining clear, professional communication throughout transactions.
  • Prepare and issue timely CHAPS/BACS forms for completion.
  • Assist fee earners with new file setups, keeping all files accurately organised in both hard and electronic copies.
  • Produce completion emails and finalise clear ledger balances on completion day.
  • Prepare documents for signature in DocuSign, ensuring timely uploading, downloading, and saving once signed.
  • Support billing by producing accurate invoices at transaction completion.
  • Provide coverage and collaborative support to other secretaries as workload fluctuates.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of Real Estate legal secretarial experience, ideally within a Development Sales team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with accounting systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all documentation and correspondence meets high standards.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks to improve team efficiency.
  • Initiative-driven, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to liaise effectively across teams and with clients.
