Property Legal Secretary

Location: London / home working / hybrid

My client is recruiting for an experienced Property Legal Secretary to work from their London office on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be working alongside one of the dedicated property teams and will have experience in managing the administration and secretarial duties associated ideally with both commercial and residential property. Duties will include drafting documents invoices, organising payments, exchanges and completions and general support of fee earners, including some post completion work involving land registry and companies house. The successful candidate will be working directly with Partners and other qualified staff. They will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ general property experience. They will be able to hit the ground running with variety of duties. Client care is a priority of the firm, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service.

Essential skills

  • Experience in both commercial and residential property.
  • Experience of working directly with Partners.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • IT literate.
  • Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress.
