Strategic Bids Manager

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a top-tier law firm, where you can shape and build a central bids function from the ground up? I'm currently working with a leading international law firm who are seeking an experienced Strategic Bids Manager to join their Business Development & Marketing team. This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and drive their strategic bids to success.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality and impactful strategic and 'must-win' bids and proposals
  • Collaborate with various teams (lawyers, pricing, innovation, risk, and responsible business) to ensure client-focused solutions
  • Coach and prepare bid teams for meetings and presentations
  • Develop and maintain best practice materials, including standard text, graphics, processes, and guidance
  • Drive bid feedback across the firm, collecting and sharing client insights
  • Analyse and share themes on outcomes and areas for improvement
  • Identify inefficiencies in the pitch process and develop plans to address these
  • Leverage GenAI and other marketing technologies to enhance bid delivery

What's needed:

  • Experience in bids and bidding within a legal or professional services environment
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic advice
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work under pressure
