Ryder Reid Legal is recruiting for an astute, motivated, and enthusiastic individual looking to advance their career in Risk and Compliance to join one of our prestigious law firm clients on a permanent, hybrid working basis at their London offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening new client matters on the firm's systems
  • Carrying out KYC with risk analysis for each client
  • Reopening matters on the firm's system
  • Handling queries related to money laundering checks
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
  • Maintaining the team's new clients and new matters record
  • Assisting with data cleansing projects
  • Updating KYC for long-standing clients
  • Supporting the Risk & Compliance Manager and Compliance Officer
  • Maintaining knowledge of client checking and money laundering procedures
  • Assisting with annual high-risk client reviews
  • Helping with the firm's annual internal audit
  • Developing the firm's AML processes and procedures
  • Dealing with general internal and external client queries
  • Performing administrative duties such as maintaining training records and filing

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have strong academics, including a minimum 2.1 degree.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of numeracy, and a good knowledge of AML requirements for non-UK based clients.
  • A calm, professional, and proactive approach, with keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, is essential.
  • Confident, with a positive work ethic and the ability to build credible relationships with clients and colleagues.
