Ryder Reid Legal is recruiting for a Conflicts Advisor to join one of our leading international law clients at their London office on a permanent basis. Our client provides legal, corporate, and fiduciary services to global corporations, financial institutions, capital market participants, and investment fund managers. In this role, you will support our client's European Business Acceptance team and provide global conflicts support, focusing on conflicts of interest. You will be the first point of contact for conflict queries, provide reliable advice to partners, and assist with training and documentation.

Various shifts are available: 9am - 5.30pm, 11am - 7.30pm, or 12pm - 8.30pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be the first port of call for any conflict queries from the business.
  • Provide valuable and reliable conflict advice and support to partners, building and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Assist with the preparation of training materials and deliver training for team members and legal teams.
  • Draft, update, and maintain conflicts-related documentation, including manuals, policies, procedures, and templates.
  • Review and analyse conflict reports, determining any actual or potential, legal or commercial conflicts of interest.
  • Draft recommendation reports for the Conflicts Committee with details of the conflict or potential conflict, and a recommended course of action.
  • Assist with the drafting of conflicts and confidentiality waivers.
  • Support local, regional, and global conflicts projects as required.

The ideal candidate would be a graduate with experience in an international risk and compliance role, knowledge of professional conflicts rules, and practical experience in managing conflicts of interest. Experience with Intapp or similar tools is preferred.
