- Assisting in drafting, reviewing and negotiating derivatives and trading contracts.
- Conducting legal research and providing legal advice on derivatives and trading matters.
- Coordinating and managing client matters in relation to derivatives and trading.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and effective client service.
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documentation and reports.
- Participating in client meetings and calls when necessary.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's processes and practices.
Profile
A successful Derivatives & Trading Paralegal should have:
- A degree in law or a related field.
- Minimum 12 months experience within the Financial Services sector.
- Proven knowledge of derivatives and trading law.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
