We are working with a highly respected boutique law firm located in the West End of London, specialising in high-net-worth (HNW) family law matters. Their team is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services with a personal touch, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care and representation. They pride themselves on their bespoke approach, supporting clients through often complex and sensitive issues.

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the firm’s dynamic team. This role will involve supporting our lawyers with a diverse range of tasks related to HNW family law cases, including divorce, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements, and child custody matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, with a focus on HNW clients, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors with case preparation, research, and drafting legal documents.
  • Liaising with clients, experts, and external counsel.
  • Managing case files and ensuring all documents are organised and up to date.
  • Attending client meetings and taking detailed notes.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing summaries or reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of court bundles and liaising with court personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Paralegal within family law, with specific experience in HNW cases.
  • Strong knowledge of family law processes, particularly those related to financial settlements and child custody.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with a discreet and professional manner.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legal qualifications such as an LLB or LPC are desirable but not essential.
