Their enviable client list includes the world’s largest private equity firms and asset managers.The Funds team at this US firm advise on a wide range of fund-related work, including private equity, private debt, real estate, mezzanine, venture, credit, infrastructure, funds of funds, distressed and special situations, and activist funds, as well as on the structuring of carried interest, co-investment and other incentive schemes, secondary transactions, and fund restructurings . The team also possess a specialism in direct lending funds, along with lobbying regulators for improvements in the banking monopoly regimes around Europe on behalf of their clients.In terms of progression, the firm have an excellent track record of offering Training Contracts to their Paralegals!The role:As an Investment Funds Paralegal, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing fund documents
Maintaining trackers and checklists on various aspects of the funds process for a large number of investors
Preparing and managing virtual data rooms
Reviewing, filing and circulating countersigned documents to clients, investors and administrators
Preparing and submitting Companies House filings
Drafting corporate authorisations
Liaising with specialist regulatory counsel
Carrying out winding up / insolvency searches
Preparing opinion and closing bibles

About you:The successful Investment Funds Paralegal will:

Be educated to LLB/GDL level (or equivalent)
Whilst prior Funds experience is preferred, those with more general Finance or Corporate/M&A experience are encouraged to apply
Experience of managing CP checklists, Companies House filings and drafting board minutes is key
