We are looking for a career-focused, law or business graduate with impeccable English (spoken and written), to join a fantastic global organisation as their Legal Assistant.

The ideal candidate will have recently studied law or business (or similar) at a UK university and will be proactive, highly organised and have proficient administrative skills. The ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, confident communication skills, a calm nature and a flexible, "can do" attitude is key to succeeding in this career building role.You may be a 2024 graduate or have graduated in 2023 and have 6-12months work experience, either way we’re keen to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities as the Legal / Business Assistant will include:

  • Providing support to the legal team
  • Collating and producing reports
  • Undertaking research and analysis as required
  • Liaising with external law firms and suppliers
  • Maintaining the document filing system (electronic)
  • Preparing board minutes using templates
  • General administration

What we’re looking for:

  • Recent UK graduate in a law or business related degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
  • Excellent, fluent command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
  • IT literate - sound knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong business / commercial acumen
  • Proficient administrative skills
  • Proactive, flexible and organised with a 'can-do’ attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to be discrete and respect the need to keep information confidential
  • Some office based experience would be helpful but is not a pre-requisite
  • A second European language is beneficial
