An Immigration Paralegal is required to assist the department, providing key support in immigration matters, and demonstrating a strong understanding of immigration law and policy.

Description

  • Providing comprehensive support to senior immigration lawyers.
  • Assisting in drafting legal documents and preparing immigration applications.
  • Conducting research on immigration law and policy.
  • Maintaining communication with clients and managing case progress.
  • Attending client meetings and taking notes when necessary.
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide seamless service.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in immigration law and procedures.

Profile

A successful Immigration Paralegal should have:

  • A law degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Sound understanding of immigration law and policy.
  • Minimum 12 months business immigration experience.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and organised approach to work.
