A rare opportunity has arisen for a French speaking Paralegal to join a leading, international law firm in London in International Trade on a permanent basis.The team are well-respected within International Trade and Sanctions law, advising clients globally across a range of sectors including technology, shipping, insurance, and digital assets, among others.The role:The firm seek a Paralegal with fluent French language skills and a demonstrable interest in International Trade to work closely with the Head of the Team in London.Key Responsibilities:

Conducting in-depth legal research on international trade and sanctions law.
Drafting and review French contracts.
Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and reports.
Support senior lawyers with client matters, including due diligence and compliance reviews.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

Fluency in French (written and spoken) is essential.
Demonstrable interest in International Trade through studies (e.g., LLM) or relevant work experience.
6 months’ experience in International Trade law preferred, but candidates with other commercial paralegal experience who fulfil the other criteria are also encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent drafting and communication abilities.
