Junior Legal Project Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Legal Project Manager to join a top-tier international law firm in advancing and delivering strategic goals!

In this position, you'll be a key player in the Legal Project Delivery function, partnering closely with teams across practice areas to ensure smooth and effective project execution. This role will primarily focus on legal project management, with occasional collaboration with the process optimization team, working on a variety of projects!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multi-jurisdictional legal matters and support efficient project workflows across various practice areas.
  • Work alongside legal project managers to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
  • Track project budgets, prepare reports, and provide valuable insights for internal teams.
  • Conduct research on proposals, pitches, and other ad hoc requests as needed.
  • Strengthen relationships across teams to proactively solve issues and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain essential project documents, templates, and reporting tools.
  • Act as a "super user" of legal tech platforms, supporting fee earners with technical questions.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Requirements:

  • You’re flexible and can thrive with changing priorities and high-energy tasks.
  • Skilled in project management methodology, with a proactive approach to adapt and meet project needs.
  • You’re an effective communicator, able to build rapport across all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a basic familiarity with legal technology
  • Project management certification required
