Legal Consultant

London

We are recruiting a legal professional for an independent firm of real estate investment advisers that provides strategic advice and deals execution for their clients across the UK capital, agency and development markets. The role will be employed by a legal firm, working solely on our client cases.

This role will suit a Conveyancing Paralegal, part qualified or qualified solicitor with a great interest in property finance.

Duties will include:

  • Dealing with legal aspects for property purchases
  • Risk and compliance matters
  • Due diligence
  • Liaising with clients, lenders solicitors and third parties
  • Managing a case load of clients
  • Taking instructions from clients and preparing detailed notes.
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts and supporting title documentation. Initiating and reviewing searches.
  • Financial control, cash flow control
  • Working closely with the team of Case Managers, Underwriters and Consultants

Person Criteria:

  • Degree in Law
  • Experience/internship gained within Property
  • A professional and ambitious individual keen to pursue career within property finance
  • Well spoken, confident and articulate - able to liaise well at all levels
  • Would suit somebody that enjoys working under pressure, this is a very busy role

Additional Information:

  • Office based, Mayfair
  • Monday to Friday, standard business hours, would suit somebody happy to work outside of these hours when necessary
  • Salary - likely to be in the region of £35-65k (there is a wide salary range as paralegals, part qualified and fully qualified legal professionals will be considered
  • Support in completing professional qualifications if required
