Our clieant is a Global Bank and they are looking to hire a Legal Assistant for their London office in the City.
Main purpose of job
To support the General Counsel providing general legal support to the business with a focus on non-contentious commercial contract work, assisting with the identification and management of legal risk, legal drafting, commercial negotiation, legal administration and legal research.
Position reports to
General Counsel/Company Secretary
The Position is responsible for work alongside and support the General Counsel/Company Secretary to provide pragmatic non-contentious legal support and advice to the business
Main duties

Legal administration
Identification and mitigation of legal risk
Review commercial contracts
Legal drafting
Contract amendments
Contract management
Support ad hoc legal initiatives and projects
Working Relationships and Contacts
- Develop a close working relationship with the General Counsel/Company Secretary working as a team.
- The Legal Assistant is required to be friendly and approachable and to develop a good working relationship internally with all
- External relationships are limited
