Legal Tech Contract Opportunity - Assistant Manager (6-Month Contract) - Banking Sector
Are you a contract management specialist with a passion for legal technology? Do you thrive on streamlining processes, enhancing workflows and being the go-to expert for contract lifecycle management tools?
We're looking for a legal operations specialist to join a leading bank's General Counsel's Office on a six-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of law, technology, and business operations, playing a key role in managing and optimising Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.
What you'll be doing:
Acting as the team's subject matter expert for Apttus (formerly Conga), supporting contract generation, negotiations and troubleshooting.
Partnering with the Apttus Product Team to improve contract workflows, suggest process enhancements and ensure smooth system functionality.
Collaborating with key stakeholders across legal, sales and account management teams to drive efficient contract execution and compliance.
Managing workflow automation for legal services and supporting pre-deal contract processes signature approvals, and document retention.
Who we're looking for:
Experienced contract professional with a strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools - Apttus (Conga) experience is a big plus!
Process-driven mindset - able to analyse, improve and optimise contract workflows.
Tech-savvy problem solver - comfortable working with product teams to troubleshoot and enhance legal tech solutions.
Excellent communicator - able to liaise effectively with legal, tech and business teams.
Location: UK (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months (may extend beyond this)
Day Rate £500-600 inside IR35 via an umbrella company
