Leading US law firm is hiring a Legal Practice Assistant to join their stunning London office. Offering a generous salary plus hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global law firm.

  • Salary up to £57,000
  • Hybrid working (4 days in office / 1 days remote)
  • 9am to 5:30pm

Legal Practice Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain lawyers’ schedules and calendars
  • Answer and screen calls, field inquiries, relay messages, respond promptly to client needs, and respond to email and voicemail as soon as possible
  • Coordinate domestic and foreign travel including preparing travel itineraries
  • Track, organise and process reimbursements, invoices via Chrome River
  • Create, format, edit, proofread, and manage Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. Draft routine correspondence, forms and emails, etc
  • Process and close time for lawyers adhering to weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Run conflict checks, assist lawyers with opening new client matters, and draft engagement letters and other required documents
  • Archive files using File Trail and sending offsite, where appropriate.
  • Assist drafting, preparing, amending and finalising client billings. To be compliant with Firm AML policies and procedures.

Legal Practice Assistant Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous Legal PA experience from a recognised law firm.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including formatting documents.
  • Excellent time management skills and manage competing demands on a daily basis.
