This role is pivotal in driving the firm's overall performance, ensuring compliance, maintaining high morale among staff, and contributing to the firm’s strategic goals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of the firm’s day-to-day operations and compliance functions, as well as enhancing client satisfaction and supporting the Directors in implementing executive decisions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee staff, manage workloads, enhance efficiency, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Handle the practical needs and facilities necessary for effective daily operations of the practice.
  • Ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency contracts and maintain Lexcel, Legal 500, and Chambers accreditations.
  • Monitor service quality, client satisfaction, and promptly manage client enquiries and complaints.
  • Uphold and enhance the firm’s brand, reputation, and market presence.
  • Manage performance data, financial records, and prepare reports for the Directors.
  • Assist the Directors in executing executive decisions and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Law-based qualifications such as LLB, LLM, LPC, or BVC.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a law practice.
  • Former practising Solicitor or Barrister status or significant experience in the Criminal Justice Sector or as a Law Clerk.
  • Experience working with the Legal Aid Agency, Bar Standards Board, or Solicitors Regulation Authority.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and client-focused skills.
