C&C Search is currently recruiting a Legal and Corporate Secretarial Assistant to join an in house law firm at a financial services company focused in Oil & Gas.

Salary: £40,000-£50,000

Hours: 9:30-5:30, 3/2

Duties:

  • Support with drafting contracts, amendments to contracts, legal correspondence, and advice notes.
  • Support the legal team with ongoing ad hoc matters including litigation, commercial, corporate matters, policy development, KYC processes and auditors' queries.
  • Maintain and update company records
  • Assist in the preparation of board and shareholder minutes
  • Assist with corporate documents (such as stock transfer forms, bank mandates and ultimate beneficial ownership filings etc.
  • Coordinate local registry findings, such as annual filings and audit reports.
  • Assist with compliance and anti-corruption matters

About you:

  • You are a graduate with 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
  • Oil & Gas experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • You are fiercely organised and love to get stuck in and support others
  • You love to problem solve and take responsibility
  • You enjoy managing multiple projects at one time
  • You have strong Microsoft office skills
  • You are ambitious and looking to work in a fast-paced environment
