Are you a skilled paralegal or solicitor looking to make a positive impact on individuals rights and well-being? Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation in need of your expertise, is currently seeking a proactive Paralegal/Solicitor to join their team and assist the Adults Lawyer with Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) cases.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Adults Lawyer to ensure timely and accurate completion of DoL cases

* Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparations

* Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents such as statements, affidavits, and applications

* Liaise with external agencies, clients, and legal professionals to gather necessary information and evidence

* Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure all documentation is up to date and organised

Requirements:

* Degree in Law or equivalent qualification

* Proven experience as a paralegal/solicitor or in a similar legal role

* Strong knowledge of DoL legislation and procedures

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
