Additionally, you will attend client meetings, court hearings, and conference calls, where you will take comprehensive notes. Liaising with counsel, conducting legal research, and providing general administrative support will also be key aspects of this position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, holding a law degree or GDL, and possess at least 12 months of contentious or criminal paralegal experience, ideally within the context of litigation. Familiarity with e-disclosure platforms and previous involvement in disclosure exercises are essential. A keen interest in criminal law is important, along with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and advanced IT proficiency.
