AJ Chambers are working with an established and highly specialised Mayfair based boutique law firm catering primarily to the needs of high and ultra-high net worth individuals and their families in the areas of company, commercial, property, litigation, probate, sports, immigration and asylum law.

They are looking for a Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will be expected, amongst other duties, to:

  • Order and process residential and commercial property searches
  • Liaise with Local Authorities on planning/building matters
  • Obtain documents from the Land Registry
  • Obtain documents from Companies House
  • Prepare and send bundles for court hearings
  • Draft letters for Partners & Fee Earners
  • Amend reports
  • Liaise with clients as required
  • Set up new clients and matters on IT systems
  • Take copies of KYC documentation and maintain physical & electronic records
  • Complete AML checks and provide result to Fee Earners & Partners
  • File closures and ensure the file archiving process is completed on a regular basis
  • File emails, photocopying, scanning & faxing documents to maintain files
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner and direct them to Partner’s & Fee Earners
  • Post completion formalities on property transactions

The candidate will ideally have:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • An excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Two years minimum experience as a paralegal within the legal sector
