Paralegal Private Client

Paralegal to join a firm of solicitors.

Duties

The role includes the following:

  • To take instructions from clients in relation to new Wills.
  • Prepare, and submit draft documents for approval
  • To invoice the client for settlement.
  • To ensure that enquiries involving trusts, IHT advice etc, are referred to senior members of the Private Client team.
  • To advise in relation to Lasting Powers of Attorney and to preparation and registration following signature.

The Candidate

  • Pleasant and courteous manner
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • PC literacy
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Must have some experience working within a Private Client department and must have at least 12 months of experience of will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney experience and a proven track record of managing a case-load and meeting client and business expectation
