Our client based in the West End is a family-owned legal firm. They are looking to expand their team and need a career paralegal to help within their busy office.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Work on legal documents and legal research.
  2. Proofreading documents and correspondence.
  3. Considering legal documents and analysing.
  4. Court attendance when appropriate.
  5. Assisting with legal matters in relation to all departments within the firm.
  6. Preparing Engrossments.
  7. Detailed note-taking.
  8. Scanning.
  9. Photocopying.
  10. Organising post.
  11. Opening files.
  12. Closing files.
  13. Time recording.
  14. Preparation of documents and letters pursuant to fee earner instructions.
  15. General preparation of documents and bills.
  16. Post office.
  17. Preparing court bundles.
  18. Typing.
  19. Arranging meetings for fee earners.
  20. Telephone Answering.
  21. Greeting clients and other persons when necessary and making sure office reception, board rooms and print room are tidy when necessary.
  22. Client hospitality before, during and after meetings and other office attendances.
  23. General office errands (for office and for Partners as required).
  24. Archiving files or preparing files for archiving.
  25. Arranging couriers and other postage
  26. Assisting Partners with all other matters, as and when requested to do so and any other tasks or duties necessary to assist the fee earners of the firm.
