The General Dental Council (GDC) is recruiting for a Paralegal to join our team on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £34,735 - £40,864 per annum.

About the role of Paralegal:

Responsibilities as our Paralegalwill include:

  • Administering a caseload of Fitness to Practise cases.
  • Ensuring that all actions are taken in a timely manner, under the guidance of a prosecution lawyer.
  • Preparing documents and witness statements.
  • Undertaking legal research.
  • Dealing with verbal and written correspondence.
  • Ensuring records are accurately maintained.

About you:

 If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we would like to hear from you:

  • Relevant legal experience. 
  • Previous healthcare regulation experience.
  • Legal qualification.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong legal drafting and analytical skills.
