The General Dental Council (GDC) is recruiting for a Paralegal to join our team on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £34,735 - £40,864 per annum.

About the role of Paralegal:
This is an excellent opportunity to expand your analytical and research skills, whilst working for the public good. You will gain invaluable experience in the healthcare regulation sector and have access to excellent career development prospects.
Responsibilities as our Paralegalwill include:
- Administering a caseload of Fitness to Practise cases.
- Ensuring that all actions are taken in a timely manner, under the guidance of a prosecution lawyer.
- Preparing documents and witness statements.
- Undertaking legal research.
- Dealing with verbal and written correspondence.
- Ensuring records are accurately maintained.
About you:
If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we would like to hear from you:
- Relevant legal experience.
- Previous healthcare regulation experience.
- Legal qualification.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong legal drafting and analytical skills.
