About Us: Our client is a well-established law firm specializing in property transactions. They are currently seeking a paralegal to join their property team.

Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join their Property Team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year experience within a property team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sale process for new build properties, from initial instruction to completion.
  • Issue contracts and leases to buyer’s solicitors and provide access to site packs for enquiries.
  • Respond to enquiries with comprehensive knowledge, liaising with clients as necessary.
  • Approve mortgage offers in line with firm requirements.
  • Facilitate the exchange of contracts and set completion dates.
  • Submit bills and draft completion statements for clients and buyer’s solicitors.
  • Issue notices to complete and handover documents when properties are ready.
  • Handle requisitions from the Land Registry post-completion.
  • Address various queries from clients and buyer’s solicitors via email.
  • Ensure client interests are protected and adhere to anti-fraud and anti-money laundering protocols.

Qualifications:

  • CILEX qualified
  • Proven experience in property transactions
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
