Post-Completions Paralegal

London (EC2M)

Are you a driven legal professional with a passion for real estate law? Our client, a law firm who are recognised as industry leaders, are looking for a motivated individual with solid experience in post-completion matters to join their growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, and are confident in managing your own caseload, this could be the perfect role for you.

As part of a busy, friendly Real Estate team, you’ll handle a wide range of property transactions, from shared ownership and outright sales to residential acquisitions and disposals. Your expertise in post-completion processes is essential, as you'll be responsible for dealing with requisitions and ensuring that timelines and deadlines are met.

Your day-to-day will include managing your own caseload, maintaining accurate electronic files, and communicating effectively with clients and other parties. You’ll also provide regular progress reports and support fee earners when needed. The ability to balance competing demands while staying organised is crucial.

In return, you’ll gain exposure to a broad spectrum of real estate work and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment. With a focus on training and career progression, you’ll be able to build on your existing knowledge and grow within the team.

What They’re looking for:

  • A degree in Law (or equivalent) with strong drafting skills.
  • Essential experience in post-completion work—this is a key part of the role.
  • A client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence working independently with limited supervision.
  • Competency in MS applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Desirable (but not required):

  • Experience working with developers or housing associations.
  • Knowledge of SDLT returns, assignments, staircasing, and lease extensions.
