A leading London-based law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trademark Paralegal to join their renowned Intellectual Property team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Trademark law to work within a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role:As a Trademark Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting their clients with a wide range of trademark matters, including brand protection, registration, and enforcement. You will work closely with senior trademark attorneys and other legal professionals to provide exceptional service to both national and international clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with the preparation and filing of UK and international trademark applications.
- Managing trademark portfolios and ensuring timely renewals.
- Conducting trademark searches and advising on potential conflicts.
- Preparing and submitting responses to office actions and oppositions.
- Monitoring trademark watch services and handling infringement matters.
- Preparing documents for hearings, and liaising with the UK IPO and other trademark offices.
- Assisting with trademark enforcement and dispute resolution.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our case management systems.
- A strong interest in Intellectual Property law, particularly trademarks.
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a trademark paralegal or similar role within a law firm or corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of trademark law, procedures, and filing systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
