My client is a well-established and highly regarded top 200 firm with a strong reputation both locally and nationally. The Role:The firm is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their Probate, Trusts, and Private Client departments. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team and support the delivery of high-quality legal services.Key Responsibilities
  • Managing new client enquiries and maintaining client communication.
  • Drafting documents such as Lasting Powers of Attorney and straightforward wills.
  • Assisting with estate administration, including preparing estate accounts using Excel.
  • Ensuring all necessary documents and information are collected for estate accounts.
  • Supporting the provision of legal advice under supervision.
  • Delegating and supervising tasks where appropriate.
  • Collaborating with team members under the guidance of a Partner.
  • Delivering a professional and client-focused service.
  • Managing written and telephone correspondence with clients, solicitors, and third parties confidentially and professionally.
  • Adhering to client care standards outlined in the firm's policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and a professional demeanour.
  • A client-focused mindset and a proactive, flexible approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • The capability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
