AJ Chambers are currently recruiting for our client, a high-growth, high-performance top international law firm. Working closely alongside 2 Partners, the team is also made up of 2 Senior Associates, 2 Paralegals and 3 Legal Counsel. The team are instructed by a variety of well-established clients including banks, financial institutions, property development and investment companies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing a broad and varied range of real estate finance and real estate transactions including liaising with other team members and co-ordinating advice from other practice areas and departments;
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of transaction documents including security documents, corporate authorisations, commercial leases, agreements for lease and other occupational documentation;
- Carrying out due diligence, such as reviewing and reporting on title, planning and searches and the preparation of draft certificates and overview reports.
Personal Specification:
To be successful in the role, you will be 2 -5 years qualified with the majority of that time spent working within real estate and real estate finance. You’ll be pro-active, efficient, organised and keen to take the initiative and drive transactions forward. You’ll also enjoy developing client relationships and pride yourself on delivering excellent client service.
You’ll also have:
- Experience of working with borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants
- Sound drafting abilities
- Commercial awareness and negotiating skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to build strong rapports and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms)
- Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks
- Ambition, work ethic and motivation
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve service levels
- Have an entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset and a desire to take an active role in business development and marketing.
