Our client is a leading international specialty insurance firm - we are looking to hire an experienced legal counsel to provide legal and compliance advice to their international businesses.

Key responsibilities

* Work closely with the International MGU's and provide legal support on a wide range of delegated authority related matters;
* Support the International MGU's with successful expansion in new countries;
* Advise on contract terms and regulatory requirements for a wide range of commercial contracts (vendor agreements, terms of business with insurance brokers, NDA's)
* Work closely with the US HQ Corporate teams. Profile:

* Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience as lawyer gained from a law firm and/or inhouse in a business active in the insurance industry;
* Relevant experience in delegated authority in the insurance industry in and outside the UK. International experience (Middle East, APAC, preferred);
* Relevant experience advising, drafting and negotiating in common law and civil law jurisdictions;
* Strong organisational, analytical and negotiation skills, combined with pragmatism and a strong commercial sense; * Enjoy a dynamic, international working environment;
* Occasional international travel will be required.

2-3 days a week in the office required - Central London based.
