Our client is seeking an experienced Permit Officer to join them on a long term Contract.  
 
Key Responsibilities:

·To work as part of the Network Management team in accordance with statutory requirements and in compliance with relevant Council policies and procedures.
 
·Responsible for drafting temporary traffic management orders together with the associated notices and maintaining the NRSWA Act Permit Register and as and when required the Local Street Gazetteer.
 
·To process notice/permit applications received from Statutory Undertakers and Highway Authority to ensure compliance with the relevant codes of practice and specifications and that applications are co-ordinated with other proposed activities to ensure that the council complies with its network management duty.
