Lift Service Tester / Technician – London Region
Crest Lifts Limited a sister company of Temple Lifts is seeking to recruit an experienced, qualified NVQ 4 level Service Tester for our busy London Region, an individual capable to confidently and professionally technically fault find and recommission a wide variety of different lift industry equipment.Â
The candidate will be based from our London SE1 offices, working across London and the SE, with a Company supplied vehicle.Â
You will have/be:
•   A strong awareness of and compliance to safety and safe working practices
•   Customer aware, supportive and friendly, a good communicator
•   Planned and organised in your working routines, flexible to respond where priorities change
•   NVQ 4 level qualified plus broad experience in lifts or lifts and escalator work
•   Experienced in testing in both modernisation and service environments on a variety of equipment types
•   Experienced in maintenance, repair and breakdown diagnostics/test tools on all types of passenger and goods lifts for a wide range of manufacturers
•   Awareness and support of quality improvement initiatives and measures
•   Live within the Greater London/SE area
•   A full driving license
•   Willing to undergo DBS clearance
•   Immediate start available
•   Entitled to work in the UK
Your responsibilities will include:
•   Safety awareness, adhering to Crest Lifts’ Safety procedures and policies
•   Capable and competent to undertake systematic fault finding/diagnosis corrective maintenance processes, minor repairs and servicing
•   Liaise with Service Managers and team colleagues in the day-to-day running of jobs
•   Maintain high standards of quality with right first time fixes
•   Be willing to share and coach other engineers to assist or fault find as needs may be
•   Completion and submission of all relevant online documents and reports
•   Maintain good housekeeping and service standards on the sites you are responsible for
Benefits include:
•   Crest Lifts provides a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
•   Paid annual leave entitlement of 25 days during a complete holiday year. Additional to this you will be allowed 8 days for public/bank holidays each year with either pay or alternative days as agreed with us.
Salary is dependent upon knowledge, experience and ability.
