Due to business growth, our client is looking to expand their Transport Fleet Team.

  • Based in Wimbledon
  • Up to £30,000 (DOE)
  • Study support offered for the Transport Management Certificate of Professional Competence
  • Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Onsite parking

Job specification:

The Transport Fleet Team is responsible for over 500 vehicles which service the various aspects of the organisation’s day to day business. This include cars, small vans, light commercial vehicles through to large Heavy Goods Vehicles.

  • Service Scheduling of vehicles; arranging appointments, ensuring vehicle records are up to date and maintained
  • Dealing with vehicle defects as they arise during the working day; covering breakdowns with in house mechanics and third party suppliers
  • Administration of important compliance requirements on the Heavy Goods Vehicle fleet
  • Procurement of parts and materials for the workshop and vehicles
  • Checking and signing off invoices
  • Assisting with the recruitment of drivers; checking driving licences, liaising with HR and Payroll, organising online induction courses and new starter packs
  • Adhoc administration duties as and when required

Person specification:

  • Proven administration experience (vehicle/transport experience would be advantageous)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Numerate
  • Supportive team planer
  • Hardworking and keen
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence would be advantageous)
