Berkshire Talent Partnership are proud to be working with a leading provider of a sustainable solutions organisation across Europe partnering with heavy industry and construction. This role is to be based in London. The company are seeking a dynamic fleet director to further enhance their offering and maximise both growth and efficiency plans, pivotal in their effectiveness to customers and their employees.

Key Responsibilities Include.

Develop and implement processes to maximise fleet utilisation, through improved fleet scheduling and routing. This will include minimising environmental impacts from both a mileage and fuel consumption perspective.

Ensuring the fleet is rightsized for current and future growth, mitigating risk within team management, compliance health and safety and the wider environment to VOSA standards as a minimum.

Capital investment will be anticipated and a sound understanding of procurement, reporting, budgeting and technical capability will be required, as will team management, performance and development.

This is a good opportunity for an individual who has managed smaller (HGV/ 150 vehicles) enterprises to develop further alongside the organisation as they develop and expand their offering. Anyone who has worked within a heavy industry environment would be particularly of interest however this is not a pre requisite, they key here being ambition and a sound commercial and leadership understanding.
