Position: Head of Delivery / Delivery Director
- Contract Type: Inside IR35
- Duration: 6 months
- Day Rate: Up to £800 aday
- Location: Primarily based around London (2 days per week), with occasional travel to South America to manage key vendor relationships.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Delivery / Delivery Director with a strong track record in managing large-scale delivery operations, particularly within the aviation or travel sectors. This role is critical to driving high-profile initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of major projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate progress, manage expectations, and align with strategic objectives for senior stakeholders, including the C-suite.
- Vendor Oversight: Build and maintain strong relationships with a key South American supplier, including occasional on-site visits to manage performance.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee multidisciplinary teams, driving collaboration and optimising resource utilisation to achieve delivery goals.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and address risks to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
- Core Platform Replacement: Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale platform replacement projects.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in delivery management within aviation or travel sectors.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams.
- Global Experience: Strong track record of managing international vendors and navigating regional challenges.
- Communication: Exceptional skills in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including board and C-suite members.
