My Client is the epitome of luxury - their stores are renowned across the globe.

We now have a very exciting opportunity to join them at their Flagship Store in the Middle East.

As Planning and Merchandise Director you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall merchandise planning and supply chain strategy. This role involves overseeing all planning, allocation, and replenishment activities, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, brand identity, and financial objectives.

The Planning and Merchandising Director will lead a team of planners and allocators, optimize inventory levels, maximize sales and profitability, and ensure a seamless flow of merchandise from suppliers to the sales floor. This role also requires close collaboration with buying, marketing, and operations teams to achieve cohesive and effective strategies.

The Successful Candidate will:

• Have experience of multi-brand merchandise within luxury or fashion retail
• Have experience of being part of the senior leadership team
• Be able to manage, coach and encourage their team
• Have a proven track record of improving financial performance
• Deep understanding of the luxury market, including consumer trends, competitive landscape, and emerging brands.
• Be Adaptable & Agile: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business needs.
• Integrity & Ethical Conduct: A person of high integrity with a commitment to ethical sourcing practices and business conduct.

• Planning & Forecasting: Expertise in merchandise planning, forecasting, open-to-buy management, and inventory control.

• Innovative & Creative: A forward-thinker with a passion for identifying new trends, brands, and product opportunities.

The role is based in the Middle East, but you need not necessarily have experience of that market.

Salary is tax-free and a full relocation package is offered.
