Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement processes.
  • Identify and source new suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Oversee supply chain functions.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
  • Coordinate with stakeholder teams and departments regarding procurement needs.

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement or a similar role, ideally within the FMCG Food & Drink industry.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement techniques.
  • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Team player and ability to work cross-functionally.

Job Offer

On offer to the candidate:

  • Up to c.£60,000 (experience dependent) per annum plus package.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site in London office.
