Key responsibilities:
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement processes.
- Identify and source new suppliers and vendors.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Oversee supply chain functions.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Coordinate with stakeholder teams and departments regarding procurement needs.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- Proven experience in procurement or a similar role, ideally within the FMCG Food & Drink industry.
- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement techniques.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Team player and ability to work cross-functionally.
Job Offer
On offer to the candidate:
- Up to c.£60,000 (experience dependent) per annum plus package.
- Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site in London office.
