Job Summary:
Manage and influence an IT portfolio to ensure competitive, compliant, and stakeholder-friendly procurement. Develop supply strategies to achieve savings, improve efficiency, and collaborate with suppliers to innovate. Focus on procuring technology and software, with opportunities to support the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage £7-10m spend to ensure value for money, compliance, and supplier value improvement.
- Collaborate with the Senior Supply Chain and Procurement Manager on category plans.
- Engage suppliers to solve business challenges and prepare contract documentation.
- Negotiate agreements ensuring maximum value and legal compliance.
- Support bid teams in supplier selection.
- Provide commercial input and excellent contract management.
- Maintain positive stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and provide training.
- Offer commercial advice on procurement and supply chain activities.
- Support supply chain and procurement function development.
