Procurement Manager

Your new companyYou will be working for a global retail business with stores right across the globe, and an international procurement team. This business has a rich history and a loyal customer base with an annual revenue exceeding $7b p/a. Your new roleAs a Procurement Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Procurement to deliver savings and performance improvement across a range of categories including design, architecture, fit-out and FF&E. This role will support the opening of new stores right across the globe and will engage with a diverse set of suppliers to deliver a range of projects on time, in spec and on budget. As the sole procurement representative for these categories, you will lead full e2e procurement initiatives from supplier sourcing and market research to negotiation and supplier management. What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have experience of working in a global role previously and be confident in effectively dealing with a diverse range of suppliers, from global brands to family-run businesses. Experience of design, fit-out, architecture or FF&E categories is crucial for this position. Experience working for a retail business previously would be highly advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. Likewise, a CIPS qualification is highly desired, but not a requirement. You should be an expert communicator who can effectively manage suppliers to deliver time-sensitive projects with finesse.
