Reed Procurement and Supply Chain is currently recruiting for a Procurement Leader to lead an IT category team for a key client.
Job Summary Lead and manage the IT & Business Services category, supporting our IT strategy. Develop sourcing strategies, manage stakeholders, and ensure value from suppliers. This role is primarily home-based with occasional to London.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a £20m spend, ensuring value for money and compliance.
- Develop and execute category plans with IT stakeholders.
- Lead procurement projects and source innovative suppliers.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements and ensure compliance.
- Maintain a structured supply chain to support business growth.
- Provide strategic input into contract management and supplier collaboration.
- Influence stakeholders and manage supplier performance.
Requirements
- Experience in IT procurement (SaaS, Hosting, Network, etc.).
- Proven track record in sourcing and cost improvement.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Ability to manage risk and make decisions.
Desirable
- MCIPS qualification or purchasing degree.
- Experience in outsourced services or health services.
