Looking for a Senior Technical Manager or Design Manager to lead on a 300 unit, high-rise scheme in East London. Managing a small team and leading the project from inception through to completion you will be joining a leading London developer who build some of the city's most sought after schemes!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Technical Coordinators/Managers and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide strategic input into planning design and guide the optimisation process through to approval.
  • Supervise the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality production information.
  • Collaborate closely with Land and Planning, as well as Sales and Marketing teams, to develop technical specifications.
  • Prepare and present the Pre-Contract Programme to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the timely submission and follow-up of statutory queries and applications (NHBC, LABC, Building Regulations).
  • Conduct regular site inspections, focusing on Health & Safety compliance and reporting.
  • Liaise with the Commercial team to maintain budget adherence and cost controls.
  • Attend and lead various project meetings, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external parties.
  • Proactively resolve technical and construction challenges as they arise.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering medium to high-rise residential developments.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legislation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.


Base salary up to 100,000 plus travel allowance & competitive bonus structure.
