We are currently recruiting for a Professional Indemnity Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, one of the industry's most highly respected and top performing Lloyd's Syndicates.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Syndicate by handling a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling complex Professional Indemnity claims as defined in the Claims Guidelines within authority.
• Dealing with referrals on claims within authority.
• Liaising with Underwriters and updating them on claims developments, as well as preparing and delivering the monthly Professional Indemnity claims report.
• Liaising with the Outwards Reinsurance team so that they are aware of developments on significant claims that may impact the company's reinsurances.
• Implementing the overall claims handling strategy as instructed by the Line Manager/Head of Non-Marine Claims.
• Liaising with insurers regarding complex claim CLASS entries.
• Reviewing daily SCM and highlighting claims which need further review.
• Liaising with Underwriters, Brokers and Loss Adjusters to update reserves and obtain reports.
• Providing support on major losses (including attending claims meetings).
• Assisting in the preparation of regular claims reports.
• Liaising with the RI team to provide loss information to reinsurers.
• Supporting in catastrophe management with regards to preparing reports and investigating exposure on accounts deemed to be impacted.
• Providing assistance to the Claims team in the preparation and analysis of MI.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience of handling Professional Indemnity Claims within the Lloyd's / London Market.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
