We are actively seeking an accomplished and dedicated Domestic Loss Adjuster to join a leading player within the claims management sector. With over 80 years of successful operation, our client is well-known within the industry for delivering exceptional service and ground-breaking solutions, particularly within the realm of General Property claims. Primary Responsibilities:Your key responsibilities as a Domestic Loss Adjuster will revolve around proactively managing a varied portfolio of property claims, ranging from minor damages to major/catastrophic events, worth up to £100k. You'll be:
  •  Diligently investigating each claim, assessing policy specifics, and formulating strategic resolutions.
  • Proactively engaging with clients and brokers for efficient claims handling and exploring potential business development opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and recording all necessary information for each claim.
  • Promptly overcoming potential hurdles in the process, thoroughly get into the root cause of issues, and resolving any pending problems for swift settlement.
About You:The ideal Domestic Loss Adjuster will demonstrate:
  • Experience in Loss Adjusting or high-value Claims Handling roles.
  • ACII or CILA qualifications or equivalent experience with a commitment to personal qualifications.
  • An outstanding understanding of FSA procedures, TCF initiatives, and the insurance market.
  • Substantial technical knowledge within the adjusting field and understanding of client SLA compliance/productivity/quality requirements.
  • Proven aptitude in scoping software and handheld device usage.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and customer-first focus.
  • Sound IT skills, attention to detail.
  • Flexibility in travelling and a full UK driving licence.
