New Vacancy - Senior Claims Adjuster (Multi Lines)City of London Lloyd's Syndicate I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing Claims team. My client is looking for a strong Claims professional with experience across multiple lines of business including Property, Energy, Construction, Marine, Aviation, Treaty, Financial Lines & More. Experience working for a reinsurer and handling Claims in the Middle East and African regions are a big bonus for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for your assigned claims, managing each case from the initial report of loss to resolution.
  • Ensure claims are resolved within designated timelines and KPIs, while keeping stakeholders regularly informed about the status of their claims.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and files for all claims to facilitate the efficient and timely preparation of monthly claims reports.
  • Support internal and external reporting efforts, including providing ad hoc updates as needed.
  • Address and resolve claims inquiries from both external and internal sources promptly.
  • Cultivate, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams (Underwriting, Operations, Finance, Actuarial) and external partners (clients, brokers, CPS) to ensure a consistently high level of service.
  • Comply with your personal authority limits, seeking approval for any amounts that exceed these limits as needed.
  • Keep management informed of any potential issues with specific claims and ensure that any matters requiring escalation are addressed swiftly and appropriately.
  • Collaborate with third-party adjusters and other external service providers, ensuring that claims are handled in accordance with the companies claims philosophy.
