Logistics and Production Co-ordinator

What will you do as a Production Assistant?

  • Liaising with a UK-based freight forwarder to arrange full importation of goods into UK
  • Arranging international shipments of components from China to UK, and processing their shipping documents
  • New SKU set up within internal system and creation of shipping notes
  • Raising contracts & purchase orders with factories and suppliers
  • Managing Production tracker to ensure stock is where it needs to be OTIF
  • Management of product costings and ensuring accuracy of orders/quantity

What do you need to be a Production Assistant?

  • Ideally have some experience in a similar role within consumer goods
  • Experienced shipping via Ex-works/FOB ( Desirable)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
  • Previous experience working 3PL warehouses and suppliers
