AC & R Service, Maintenance, and Breakdown Engineer (Mobile Role)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (AC&R) Engineer to join our team in a mobile role covering London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of AC&R systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including VRVs, VRFs, split systems, chillers, and cold rooms.
- Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring systems are restored efficiently and effectively.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions to minimise downtime.
- Perform system installations and upgrades as required.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports promptly.
- Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in AC&R servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repair.
- NVQ or City & Guilds levels 1 & 2
- F-Gas certification (Category 1).
- Full UK driving license (required for this mobile role).
- Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
