Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), fault finding, and reactive maintenance. You will be working across various electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the smooth operation and safety of our facilities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PPM and planned maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across lighting, motors, generators, AHUs (Air Handling Units), chillers, and foul water systems.
  • Conduct fault finding on electrical wiring, perform plant adjustments, and inspect mechanical and electrical services.
  • Work on general maintenance tasks such as re-lamping luminaires and addressing issues with plumbing, heating systems, and M&E systems.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and extra work as required, following all Health and Safety (HASAWA) standards and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit maintenance & inspection reports promptly.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours rota when needed.
  • Act as an Authorised Person (AP) for your designated site(s), if required.


Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Electrical (Parts 1 & 2) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) and multi-skilling.
  • Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in customer-facing roles with good communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Experience with emergency lighting, low voltage systems, and basic mechanical knowledge (Fan Coil Units).


Key Skills:

  1. Emergency lighting installation and maintenance.
  2. Low voltage authorised person qualifications.
  3. Basic mechanical knowledge of Fan Coil Units and other mechanical systems.


Required Certifications:

  • Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical qualification.
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations certificate.
