Maintenance Engineer
City of London | Monday to Friday | 8 am to 5 pm | c£48,700 Package + Client Side Benefits
Are you a fully qualified Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience working within commercial office environments? Do you want to work in an end-user, client-side role?
Due to our client's contract expansion, GH Engage is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work within a high-end corporate/critical premises within the City of London carrying out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance within a team of engineers.
This role is working on a Monday to Friday basis. There is no call out on the contract but there is available paid overtime.
Duties:
- Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
- Mechanical Duties: Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing, AHU's/FCU's - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans, Pumps - PPM's or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls), Motors - PPM's (re-winds, overhauls), Carrying out maintenance on VRV's/VRF's.
- Plumbing maintenance; Small plumbing jobs, dead leg removal, Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems, Chilled Water systems, Water flushing, Water treatment - dipslides, pH & temperature.
- Electrical Duties: Lighting - lamp changes, ballast changes, simmtronic/Phillips lighting, Emergency light testing, Power distribution, Electrical fault-finding, Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits, PAT Testing
- Updating site log books
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared and used for all tasks
- Escorting sub-contractors, reviewing risk assessments, and issuing permits.
Package:
- TOTAL take-home pay (before overtime) £48,710:
- £46,200
- £2,510 bonus
- £1,500 allowance for AP status .

Requirements:
- City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical/plumbing bias.
- Experience within critical or commercial premises.
- Able to commute to London daily.
