Maintenance Engineer / Multi Trader | Commercial Maintenance & Projects | 38,000 - 40,000 per annum | Weekly Pay | Permanent role with company van.
Due to an increase in demand and win of a new contract, we are actively recruiting for Multi Traders in / around the London area. As a multi trader, you will be working on a mobile basis across a range of commercial environments, ie: coffee shops, restaurants, retail stores, pubs etc.
You will be carrying out a range of maintenance and projects, including minor repairs, emergency repairs, general up-keep and maintenance, new installations / upgrades etc. This may include;
- Carpentry - patch work, fixtures and fittings, basic wood work, cutting and installing new locks, shaving down doors, installing door shutters, assembling furniture, replacing ceiling tiles, plywood boarding etc.
- Plumbing - internal blockages, taps, washers, flushers, leak detection etc.
- Painting and decorating.
- Patch tiling - walls and floors
- Glass panel replacement / boarding up.
- Minor roofing repairs, ie leak prevention / patching etc.
- Shop fitting
You will be working both independently and within a team dependant on the job. This is a fast paced, predominately reactive role where you can expect anything from 4 - 8 jobs per day location dependant.
Employment Package: Maintenance Engineer /Multi Trader
- Base Salary: 38,000 - 40,000 per annum.
- Expected annual earnings: 48,000 - 60,000 per annum.
- Permanent, PAYE role - Paid Weekly.
- Company Van + Fuel Card provided (business use).
- Location: Within 50 mile radius of home address.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.
- Paid Overtime Available: x1.5 rate up to midnight, x2 rate overnight or anytime Sundays & Bank Holidays.
- Call out rota: 1 in 4 weeks. 75-90 per call out + paid overtime after first hour on-site. (Average of 10 call outs per week on-call, average earnings (Apply online only) for the week).

Candidate Profile: Maintenance Engineer /Multi Trader.
- Must have a trade qualification in a relevant trade discipline (city and guilds / NVQ) or time served also considered.
- Must be comfortable carrying out all duties listed above independently.
- Must have a full UK driving license with under 9 points.
- Experience in maintenance or projects within commercial environments is highly advantageous.
- Happy to work in a fast paced environment, on a mobile basis.
